„Life comes first“, this is kind of how I feel about the Charity, I do not search, they just fall into place and then become part of it…

Just as the vernissage in a Berlin obstetrical clinic, they wanted to engage me for the opening of the first „berlin baby hatch”. My book „Schwanger Gehen” was a sensation and I was supporting the awareness on „anonymous birth” in Germany.

The Amazone from Venus goes to Bacardi for the sake of the Charité Berlin. Together with a close friend of mine I created a journalistic photo spread about the female body after breast surgery.

The „Der Tagesspiegel” publishes the expressive photos. Inspired by this series Princess Maja von Hohenzollern commissioned a piece for the „1. German Charity Ball for the promotion of healing of breast cancer” in Berlin. – The „Venus Amazone” a new piece with combination technics between photography and painting is created and is purchased by the art collector Monica del Campo de Bacardi from Monaco. The sales proceeds of the art piece go to the Charité Berlin, which pleases me greatly.

Hospice Berlin

Through my work with pregnant women I still have a close contact to doctors and maternity clinics. Recently I supported a clinic from Berlin with my photo book „Schwanger Gehen”, the revenue of the books goes to the hospice of the clinic. Life and death are connected in my opinion.
